ALL funds raised for the Walk for Suicide Prevention are used to support Mental Health America of Fredericksburg's Suicide Prevention Education program.

Suicide is the second leading cause of death in kids and teens ages 10 to 19 in the United States. Depression and suicidal tendencies can go undetected by friends and family members. It is important that we all learn the signs and symptoms of depression in ourselves and our peers and, most importantly, what to do about it. The Another Day campaign and the Walk for Suicide Prevention exists to raise funds to support suicide prevention education in our communities middle and high schools.

By registering for the Another Day Walk for Suicide Prevention, you are making a contribution to support the Suicide Prevention Education program. Thank you for taking the first step in stopping suicide in our community!

We want to also acknowledge our sponsors who have enabled us to hold this event again this year: Wegmans, Bouchard & Associates, the Teddy Fund through the Community Foundation for the Rappahannock River Region and the Rappahannock Area Community Services Board.

Participants receive access to our Another Day Speaker Series held nightly at 7 pm.
